Sharon A. Kuhn, a member of Forbes Coaches Council and Emotional Intelligence Trainer, has coached many professionals, families  and individuals  in their need for self-understanding and stress management.

Sharon’s life experiences and research have earned her the admiration of her colleagues in the mental health, business, and education professions who esteem her as an emotional intelligence coach as well as an attachment and behavioral specialist in the fields of interpersonal neural biology and trauma informed care. She wrote Empathy, The Steroid for Your Child's Self-Esteem, based on her own trauma informed and mental strengths program, Unique EQ.

Unique EQ provides tools to increase empathy thereby increasing emotional intelligence, reducing defense mechanisms and changing stress, uncertainty, and conflict to productivity. During this time of returning to work in Phase 3, Back On Track IN, Sharon is looks forward to continued opportunities to support Indiana businesses and families through:

Sharon has worked for 28 years in the area of personal discovery and trauma intervention with her own children, students, and adults through her ministry Garden of Grace, her school Garden of Arts, a fine art school she held in her home. 20 years of home educating as a single mother of five, teaching grades Kindergarten through high school gave her an edge on empowering the unique intelligence and self-direction of diverse students. Bringing out the best in people is her passion. Today Sharon has translated that same passion into tools for executives and administrators delivering EI training materials for the workplace.

Her motto is: We don’t just manage the pain; we build the brain by turning every day circumstances into innovative opportunities that empower minds through the power of empathy. 

She is passionate about motivational speaking and from 2—6-1012 produced 67 TV productions promoting social and relational wellness interdisciplinary models of social, psychological, and neurological studies. Her new ground breaking book, Empathy, The Steroid for Your Child's Self-Esteem, and the companion Self-Esteem Kit and Instruction Booklet are coming out in August 2020.

Speaking Engagements and Previously Published Works:

As a community organizer, Sharon has been a trainer for Mental Health America, a guest speaker at community round tables, a guest on WOWO Radio, interviewed on The Verbal Edge TV Show, has hosted and coordinated public forums and events for state and local leaders. She has had the privilege of speaking to and training organizations such as Parkview Behavioral Health, Region 8 Education Resource, Anthony Wayne Rotary Club, Fellowship of Christian Counselors and many other organizations.  Sharon featured the issue and trauma of human trafficking on her Access Fort Wayne TV show and collaborated with other presenters at a Human Trafficking Conference through University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne.

In her current speaking engagements, Sharon focuses on aligning with professionals in all industries to assist their efforts in increasing workplace wellness!
